Journal History

2006: Jurnal Ilmiah Kebijakan Hukum was first published in print edition in March by the Center for Policy Study and Development, Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia.

2016: Started to be managed by the Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Hukum dan HAM (Balitbangkumham) and simultaneously published online for the first time in Volume 10, first edition, March 2016, after the new nomenclature of Balitbangkumham was stipulated in Minister of Law and Human Rights Regulation No. 29 of 2015.

2018: Submission for journal reaccreditation.

2019: Received SINTA-2 Accreditation Decree from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia.

2021: Submission for journal reaccreditation.

2022: Received SINTA-2 Accreditation Decree from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.

2023: Balitbang Hukum dan HAM, as the manager of JIKH, experienced a nomenclature change to the Badan Strategi Kebijakan (BSK Hukum dan HAM).

2024: With the division of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights into four ministries,  BSK Hukum dan HAM also underwent a nomenclature change to the Badan Strategi Kebijakan Hukum following the nomenclature of the Ministry of Law.

2025: Migration to the current OJS Version 3.
